Which rules currently apply in my holiday region?

What measures have been taken at ALPS RESORTS?

In addition to the statutory corona rules, we have taken the following prevention measures in our resorts:

  • Contactless check-in (possible in some resorts)
  • Special security measures for public wellness areas
  • Disinfection of all accommodations before arrival
  • Generous cancellation policy

Can I rebook or cancel my stay free of charge?

If a lockdown with a ban on accommodation is prescribed in your holiday region or your ALPS RESORT for the duration of your booked travel date, you will, of course, get your money back and can rebook or cancel your holiday free of charge. Otherwise, our cancellation policy applies.

How can I rebook or cancel my stay?

Please send your booked resort an email with the following information about your booking:

  • Booking number
  • First and last name
  • Date of arrival and departure
  • Accommodation

You will find this information as well as the email address of your ALPS RESORT in your booking confirmation. Please note our cancellation policy.

Payment

What are the payment options?

All payments before arrival can be made by credit card or by bank transfer to our account. Payments on site, such as deposit, can be paid in cash or by credit card (authorisation required).

Do I have to pay the full price when booking?

No, only a down payment is required at the time of booking. You will find further information in your booking confirmation or in the booking tool at the respective accommodation.

What's included in the price?

The total price includes the rental costs for the accommodation as well as additional costs, such as final cleaning, accommodation tax, laundry set and deposit.

You will be informed in our booking tool what has to be paid directly online and upon your arrival on site (e.g. deposit).

How many people are included in the price?

You will find this information on our website at the respective resort or in the booking tool at the respective accommodation.

Do I still have to pay anything on site?

You will be informed in our booking tool at the respective accommodation what is still to be paid on site (e.g. deposit).

If you have booked your holiday with a tour operator or portal, please note the general terms and conditions (GTC) of your provider.

When do I get my deposit back?

We keep a security deposit for damages caused during your stay. After your departure, our team will check the accommodation for any damage. If everything is in order, we will refund the full deposit. Depending on the resort, this may take approximately 5 - 15 days after your departure. The amount of the deposit and the duration of the refund can be found at the respective accommodation in the booking tool.

If a damage has been caused during your stay, we will retain part or all of the security deposit (depending on the severity of the damage). Please inform us of any damage on site.

How can I redeem discount codes and gift vouchers?

You can easily enter discount codes in the field provided during the booking process. The discount will be deducted immediately.

What are the cancellation conditions?

Cancellation costs refer to the rental or overnight stay price - additional costs (e.g. final cleaning, overnight stay tax, laundry set) will not be charged in the event of cancellation.

Holidays with dogs

How do I find dog-friendly ALPS RESORTS?

How many dogs are welcome per accommodation?

Please contact your desired resort via our contact form or send us a non-binding inquiry - we will be happy to help you.

Must my dog be chipped?

For entry into Austria, your dog will require a microchip ID. We also recommend to bring your dog's European pet ID including vaccination certificates (rabies in particular).

Are there any additional costs for my holiday with dog?

Yes, there are small additional costs per pet and day. These are included in the total price when booking directly via our tool.

Are bowls and dog beds available on site?

You are welcome to borrow bowls and blankets at our Pfotencheck awarded resorts.

How far is my accommodation from the ski area?

You will find this information in the text for each resort on our website. Simply select the desired resort and click on The Resort. Or leave us a message using the contact form - we will be happy to help you.

Can my holiday be booked with ski passes?

Currently a stay at ALPS RESORTS cannot be booked with ski passes.

However, guests of the Bergresort Hauser Kaibling can purchase ski passes directly on site.

Does my resort have a ski storage room?

How do I find accommodations with pool and/or sauna?

Is the pool of my accommodation heated?

With a few exceptions, all pools are heated. For details, please refer to the respective accommodation in our booking tool.

Is my desired accommodation available?

In the booking tool, select your arrival and departure dates, the region/resort and the number of people. This will display all available accommodations in the selected period.

Can I make a non-binding reservation for an accommodation and book it later?

A non-binding reservation is not possible.

Is there a minimum stay?

Yes, the minimum stay varies by resort and season. You will be advised of this in the booking tool at the respective accommodation.

How many people can move into the accommodation?

Will I receive a booking confirmation?

After we have checked your booking, we will send you a confirmation. Please note that this may take some time.

Where do I get the key for my accommodation?

Is there a reception on site?

In most resorts you will find a reception directly on site. Otherwise, the nearest ALPS reception is only a few minutes away by car.

What documents do I need to check in?

You will need a valid ID (identity card) for check-in. Please also note the currently valid Corona rules in your holiday region. Further information can be found here Safe Holidays at ALPS RESORTS

Do I have to clean the accommodation before I leave?

Before you leave, please sweep your accommodation with a broom and remove any coarse dirt. Please dispose your rubbish at the designated collection points. Contact your resort for further questions or take a look at the information folder in your accommodation.

Where do I find the address and directions to the resort?

You will find the address in your booking confirmation and on our website at the respective resort under Contact & Arrival.

Furnishing/Equipment

Where do I find details of my accommodation?

Details about your accommodation, such as facilities/equipment or number of rooms, can be found at the respective accommodation in our booking tool.

What do I have to keep in mind during my holidays at ALPS RESORTS?

Please be considerate of our other guests and observe public quiet hours throughout the resort. These include the midday rest from 12:00 - 15:00 o'clock, the night rest from 22:00 - 07:00 o'clock and the all-day Sunday rest. Parties are not welcome in our resorts.

Can you recommend any attractions/excursion destinations?
