ALPS GOES GERMANY: Ferienresort Inzell as of Summer 2021
In Inzell, in the heart of the Chiemgau Alps and only 35 kilometers from Salzburg, ALPS RESORTS operates part of Ferienresort Inzell: Eleven new holiday homes, each with its own outdoor pool on the terrace and own sauna, represent the first holiday resort for ALPS RESORTS in Germany.
Inzell lies in Chiemgau, an area just a stone's throw from the border between Germany and Austria. This Upper Austrian holiday destination has made a name for itself, both because of its healthful climate and as a training center for speed skaters. Your holiday home is around 25 kilometers from the "Bavarian Sea", which is how Bavarians refer to their beloved Lake Chiemsee.

Summer or winter holidays in a chalet in the Chiemgau Alps
In Inzell, you will sense just how beautiful life can be: hiking and enjoying a hearty bite to eat at a mountain hut, biking out to Frillensee, taking a dip in the natural swimming lake in Inzell, or savoring the invigorating refreshment of one of the local mountain streams or lakes. Inzell is where the Alps really "get started", making it one giant playground for everyone who loves the mountains. And who doesn't?!
If you prefer things a little on the quieter side in winter, Inzell is just right for you. Especially at the Kesselalm lifts in Inzell and the Pommern lift in Adlgass, families and beginners feel right at home getting in a spot of skiing. At the Max Aicher Arena, everything revolves around sports on ice. Ski tourers and snowshoers enjoy secluded tours across remoter terrain, winter hikers delight in more than 52 kilometers of maintained winter hiking paths, while cross-country skiers are able to push themselves to their physical limits on 80 kilometers of XC trails. Or, simply kick back and take it all in. Which is also a popular pastime in Inzell.
