Holidays in the Montafon

Between alpine wilderness and sporting diversity

A holiday in the Montafon offers authentic mountain experiences away from the crowds. Nestled between the Rätikon, Silvretta and Verwall ranges, this region is perfect for active nature lovers who appreciate peace and quiet, wide open spaces and unspoilt landscapes. Instead of overcrowded tourist hotspots, you’ll find crisp mountain air, authentic villages and a wide range of opportunities for active getaways.

The valley, around 40 km long, stretches from Bludenz to the Silvretta High Alpine Road and connects towns such as Schruns, Tschagguns, Gaschurn and Gargellen. The short distances within the valley, modern mountain railways and a wide range of activities make a holiday in the Montafon particularly flexible – whether in summer or winter.
