Rules for a Relaxing Vacation with Your Dog – for Everyone
To ensure your vacation is as pleasant as possible for everyone involved, we have a few recommendations for your stay.
- Leash Requirement: Dogs must be kept on a leash to ensure the safety of all guests and to avoid confrontations with other dogs.
- Muzzle Requirement: In certain areas such as restaurants and public transportation, dogs should wear a muzzle to prevent unpredictable responses.
- Clean Up After Your Dog: Owners must clean up after their dogs immediately and always bring waste bags with them.
- Observe Quiet Times: Owners should respect quiet hours at night and during midday siesta.
- Proof of Vaccination: Owners should have their dog’s vaccination records with them and ensure all required vaccinations are up-to-date.
- Access to Specific Areas: Dogs are only permitted in designated areas of the resort or holiday complex, such as special dog zones or specific walking paths.
- Feeding and Care: Owners are responsible for regular feeding, grooming, sufficient exercise, and hydration of their dogs.
- Liability Insurance: Owners should have valid liability insurance for their dogs to cover potential damages.
- Consideration: Owners should be considerate of other guests who may be afraid of dogs or suffer from allergies.
- Hygiene: Dogs should not be allowed to lie on beds or upholstered furniture and are not allowed in bathrooms or bedrooms. Wellness facilities are not for dogs. Dirt in your accommodations should be cleaned up; any supplemental cleaning that is required will be billed.
- Supervision: Dogs must be supervised on the property. Some guests may have a fear of dogs, so dogs should always be kept on a leash inside the resort and in communal areas (leash requirement)
- Liability: Owners are liable for all damages and soiling caused by their dogs to the rental property, its furnishings, and the surrounding grounds.
These guidelines help ensure that vacations are pleasant and stress-free, both for dog owners as well as their fellow guests.
What Should I Be Especially Aware Of?
ALPS RESORTS makes no distinction with respect to dog breeds. All dog breeds are welcome, but we do wish to draw your attention to the following.
