Situated in a sunny location between the Zugspitze and Lechtal valleys, the Berwanger Hof looks back on a history steeped in tradition: since its foundation in 1963, the 295-bed hotel has been the lively centre of a region that was known as "little St. Moritz" in the 1970s and 1980s. The building has now been sustainably modernised during its extensive revitalisation: You can currently choose from a total of 13 apartments here in Berwang, with more to follow in the next few years.

All apartments are bright and spacious, with 87 - 135 m² of living space, fully equipped kitchens, inviting living/dining areas and modern bathrooms. Depending on the category, your apartment in Berwang has 2 - 3 bedrooms and a balcony or terrace where you can enjoy the view of the Roter Stein, Thaneller, Hönig, Bleispitze and Galtjoch mountains. The private sauna and hot tub in each apartment provide additional comfort. For even more relaxation, our communal wellness area invites you to unwind and relax.

In the resort you will also find our ALPS KITCHEN Berwang restaurant with children's play area. The location in Berwang could hardly be better: right next to the Sunjet piste with ski-in/ski-out, approx. 600 m from the mountain railway and only 350 m to the centre with restaurants, sports shops and shopping facilities. Excursion destinations such as Lake Heiterwanger See (10.3 km) or Neuschwanstein Castle (33.5 km) are within easy reach.

Dogs are welcome on request. Walking paths and hikes start directly from the resort, which are ideal for walks with your dog - perfect for short walks in the morning or longer excursions into the Berwang countryside.

Our communal wellness area offers you a heated infinity pool with terrace and sun loungers as well as a panoramic sauna with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. So you can enjoy relaxing hours all year round after active days in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena. A special highlight is the private spa in every apartment: you can relax undisturbed in your own sauna and private hot tub - flexibly and in a private atmosphere.

The ideal addition to your self-catering holiday: in our in-house ALPS KITCHEN Berwang we serve Austrian and Italian classics - from pizza and fresh pasta dishes to roast onion and Wiener schnitzel. For younger guests there is a separate play area with a slide, colouring corner and small play kitchen. Our café also welcomes you, accompanied by a selection of snacks and cakes. The combination of many hours of sunshine and a varied mountain landscape ensures that a wide range of activities start right on the doorstep all year round. In summer, you can set off from your apartment on hiking trails that lead you to alpine meadows, viewpoints and forest paths. The Outdoor Escape Trail in Berwang, the path to the Ehenbichler Alm, the Rotlech waterfall or the tour to the Almkopf - one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the region - are popular. An excursion to the alpine village of Fallerschein or to the Ehrenberg Castle World in Reutte with the Highline 179 - one of the longest pedestrian suspension bridges in the world - is also worthwhile. Lake Heiterwanger See with its walking paths, boat trips and quiet lakeside areas is just a few minutes' drive away, while Neuschwanstein Castle is around 35 minutes away.

Families can visit the nearby animal and play park in Bichlbach, the adventure trails Moosle's Zauberwald and Moosle's Forscherpfad in Lermoos or the water adventure trail "Zugspitzi am Gaisbach". The Bärenarena forest swimming pool is just a few hundred metres from your apartment.

Thanks to ski-in, you are right on the Sunjet piste in winter. The excellent ski area is known for its wide, family-friendly slopes with 35 km of pistes, 12 modern lifts as well as a night ski slope and night toboggan run. A total of 143 km of pistes in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena ensure pure skiing and snowboarding fun in the Berwang-Bichlbach, Grubigstein, Ehrwalder Alm, Wetterstein, Marienberg and Zugspitzplatt ski areas.

Cross-country skiers will find numerous trails, including the Moosloipe, the Resswaldloipe or the longer route from Kelmen to Namlos. Winter hikers can explore the Biligrundweg trail, the route to the Hochalm or the connection to Rinnen and Mitteregg, which are among the quiet trails in the region.

When you arrive, you will receive the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena guest card - your access to many free offers and attractive discounts. Among other things, you can take part in guided torchlight hikes, 3-lake tours, llama hikes in Biberwier or e-bike taster tours and gain access to the Blindsee lake. Admission to the Panoramabad Lermoos and the Alpentherme Ehrenberg is also discounted. With the guest card, you can also use all regional buses in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena and the excursion bus to Ehrwald and Garmisch-Partenkirchen free of charge.
