Parts of the complex are accessible and offer a wide view over the Tyrolean Upper Inn Valley. Although swimming is not permitted in Burgsee lake, a walk around the shore is definitely worthwhile.

The valley station of the Sonnenbahn Ladis-Fiss cable car is about a 3-minute drive away and provides direct access to the skiing and hiking area of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region.
