Chalets in Hohentauern in the Murtal with sauna & whirlpool

In the middle of the Styrian Tauern mountains, the chalets of the Almdorf Hohentauern offer 70 - 145 m² of space for up to 10 people. Many chalets can also be booked with a sauna, whirlpool or infrared cabin. The quiet location at the foot of the Triebenstein guarantees undisturbed relaxation, while the piste and cross-country ski trail are just a few steps away.

Large windows and terraces (partly fenced) create a direct connection to nature. The spacious kitchen equipment ensures independence, while warm wooden accents create a cosy atmosphere.

You can set off into the mountains directly from the chalet. The Moscherski station with family-friendly pistes is just 2 km away. Practice slopes with a magic carpet and platter lift are perfect for beginners, while sporty skiers choose the short but challenging north-facing slope. The 18 km long cross-country ski trail starts just 300 m from the resort. Ski tourers are drawn to the Großer Bösenstein early in the morning.

In summer, there are a variety of hiking and cycling trails in the immediate vicinity. The Hohentauern water trail is particularly suitable for relaxing walks, while the Scheiblsee lake (6 km) provides refreshment on hot days. Also, worth a visit: the pile-dwelling village on the Keltenberg, just a 20-minute walk away.
