Family-friendly hotel with pool in Kaprun

Absolut außergewöhnlich – uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!
Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war in jeder Hinsicht hervorragend. Wir waren eine Gruppe von fünf Personen und drei Hunden und wurden vom ersten Moment an sehr herzlich empfangen, sodass wir uns sofort willkommen gefühlt haben. Das gesamte Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und jederzeit hilfsbereit – auch im Umgang mit unseren Hunden.
Die Zimmer waren modern, äußerst sauber und sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die bequemen Betten sowie die ruhige Atmosphäre, die für einen erholsamen Schlaf gesorgt hat. Die Sauberkeit im gesamten Hotel war auf höchstem Niveau.
Das Abendessen war ausgezeichnet – von hervorragender Qualität und geschmacklich erstklassig. Der Wellnessbereich war ebenfalls sehr gut: sauber, ruhig und perfekt zum Entspannen. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, frisch und bot eine große Auswahl.
Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal: zentral gelegen und dennoch angenehm ruhig.
Insgesamt ein perfekter Aufenthalt mit einem ausgezeichneten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir würden dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen – besonders für größere Gruppen und Hundebesitzer!

We stayed at the Cape Solem shortly after its reopening and wanted to provide honest, constructive feedback. We understand that a hotel of this size needs time to get up to speed after reopening – which is precisely why we see so much potential here.

The modern, high-quality design and the very attractive, spacious rooms with large showers, comfortable beds, and balconies are particularly noteworthy. The spa, fitness, and pool areas also make a high-quality impression.

A big thank you goes to the Food & Beverage Manager and the entire restaurant team. The service was consistently friendly, attentive, and warm – we felt very well cared for at all times. This dedication deserves special recognition.

There is still room for improvement in some areas:

The spa area urgently needs to be made safer during winter operations (slippery floors and stairs). At breakfast and the evening buffet, we sometimes felt a lack of attention to detail and a clearer culinary focus. Small organizational details (technology, housekeeping, information at check-in) can certainly be improved with a little more time.

In conclusion: A very nice new hotel with a dedicated team and a strong foundation. With some fine-tuning of processes, safety, and cuisine, the Cape Solem has the potential to become a truly top-tier destination. We wish the entire team continued success and look forward to returning.

We spent two wonderful nights with our two-month-old baby at this hotel and were absolutely delighted. From the moment we entered, the hotel impressed us with its stylish and tasteful character, a consistent theme throughout.

The excellent food deserves special mention: both the quality and presentation were top-notch and perfectly complemented our stay. We were equally impressed by the service – exceptionally attentive, warm, and always eager to cater to the needs of a young family. We felt welcome and exceptionally well cared for from the very first moment.

A true highlight is the stylish yet very comfortable spa area. The rooftop pool offers a fantastic atmosphere for relaxation. There's also a great children's pool with attractions.

The hotel's location is also ideal: central yet pleasantly quiet, which was a huge plus for us, especially with a baby.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable short break, and we would love to return!

We stayed here over New Year's. I can't praise anything enough. The staff was fantastic – incredibly friendly, efficient, and helpful. The room, spa, and children's room were all perfect! The spa is top-notch. There are facilities for children as well as an adults-only area. Very child- and dog-friendly. Special praise goes to the kitchen, bar, and manager, Marcus. He had everything perfectly under control and fulfilled every wish. He even allowed us to invite five extra guests from outside for New Year's Eve, despite the hotel being full. We had half-board, and it was delightful! The quality and selection of food was better than in some expensive restaurants! I hope it stays this way and isn't just due to the new opening. Keep up the great work! It was a real pleasure to be your guest!

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at the newly opened Carpe Solem Kaprun. The reception staff were very friendly, the rooms were superbly equipped, and ideal for families with two children. There was a spacious playroom with a huge climbing frame and game consoles. The two spa areas, both with various saunas and steam rooms, were a highlight, with the adults-only spa area featuring a rooftop pool.

The food was excellent, and the service was very attentive. We will definitely be back!
