The Erzberg Alpin Resort is located in Hochsteiermark, at the foot of the Erzberg, and combines industrial charm with modern living comfort. The buildings of the former miners' settlement have been converted into contemporary holiday apartments and holiday homes - bright, straightforward and with alpine flair.

You can choose between apartments and holiday homes for your holiday in Eisenerz: With 1 - 3 bedrooms, our holiday apartments are ideal for couples, families and groups of up to 10 people. Depending on the category you book, your apartment is equipped with an infrared sauna or bathtub with whirlpool function.

If you want even more space, our holiday homes with 3 - 8 bedrooms are the perfect choice. Up to 27 people can spend a relaxing holiday here at the same time. The largest holiday home has a living space of 270 m², spread over several floors. On the ground floor there is a spacious living area with an eat-in kitchen and separate dining room. Other amenities include 3 multifunctional living and social rooms, a wellness area with Finnish panoramic sauna and shower and a 40 m² terrace.

All accommodation has fully equipped kitchens and a balcony or terrace. The ALPS KITCHEN Eisenerz restaurant and our bread roll service provide even more comfort.

The location of the Erzberg Alpin Resort in the historic mountain town of Eisenerz combines nature and culture in equal measure: The view of the Erzberg is a reminder of the region's centuries-old mining history, while the tranquillity of the surroundings guarantees relaxation. The largest open-cast mine in Central Europe with its show mine and Hauly rides, the Leopoldsteinersee bathing lake, the Präbichl skiing and hiking area and the Eisenerz vitality spa are just a few minutes' drive away.

In addition to the infrared cabins and whirlpool tubs in our accommodation, even more relaxation and well-being awaits you at the Vitalbad Eisenerz. Just 1.5 km from your holiday apartment, the swimming pool, sauna, steam bath, tepidarium and infrared cabin invite you to switch off, accompanied by a panoramic view of the Erzberg. Entry to the Vitalbad Eisenerz is free of charge for our guests.

The Erzberg Alpin Resort is the ideal starting point for activities at any time of year - whether on the piste, by the lake or on the mountain.

In winter, the Präbichl ski area, 13 km away, offers 20 km of pistes, a snow park, children's area and ski school. Cross-country skiers will find trails in Eisenerz and the Eisenerzer Ramsau, while winter hiking trails and snowshoe tours lead through pine and larch forests. A special experience is the ascent with the Präbichl mountain railway to the 1,911 m high local mountain Polster with panoramic views over the Erzberg. Tobogganing and ice skating on Lake Leopoldstein are also popular winter activities.

In summer, hiking trails through the Eisenerz Alps Nature Park invite you to hike up the Pfaffenstein, the Hochblaser or around the Leopoldsteinersee. Mountain bikers can explore the Erzbergrunde or the trails on the Präbichl. Climbers will find a variety of via ferratas in the Eisenerzer Ramsau, while the Vitalbad Eisenerz with its outdoor area and sauna offers relaxation. PS fans, on the other hand, can explore active ore mining at close quarters in the Erzberg Adventure, while those interested in culture can visit the Benedictine Abbey of Admont with its world-famous library.

These include museums, mountain and valley rides, wildlife park, show mine and much more. The guest card is free of charge and will be given to you on arrival.

Dogs are very welcome at the Erzberg Alpin Resort. Walking and hiking trails start right outside the door, which are ideal for excursions with your four-legged friend. Lake Leopoldstein is a popular destination for a walk around the lake or a quick dip in summer. Dogs are also allowed in the ALPS KITCHEN Eisenerz restaurant.

As a welcome gift, dogs receive the ALPS RESORTS doggy bag, consisting of a cosy blanket, treats, a voucher from Vet-Concept and poo bags. You will receive the doggy bag on arrival at our reception.
