The Hauser Kaibling valley station - your gateway to the Schladming 4-mountain ski area - is just a few minutes' walk away. This comprises the Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm ski areas and is part of Ski amadé. A total of 123 km of perfectly groomed pistes in all levels of difficulty await you - ideal for beginners and experienced winter sports enthusiasts alike.

The Hauser Kaibling 8-seater gondola lift is one of the best summer mountain lifts in Austria. It takes you directly to the varied Hauser Kaibling hiking and biking area. Numerous adventure offers await you here, such as zorbing, the SCHAFsinnteich pond, playgrounds, a children's adventure trail and a petting zoo.

The included Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card gives you free access to many sights and leisure activities in the region. It is valid for mountain and gondola rides on the Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm, admission to outdoor pools and swimming lakes as well as numerous other excursion destinations. The card is included in the price of your holiday from the end of May to the beginning of November and is valid for your entire stay.

About Haus im Ennstal in the Schladming-Dachstein region

Haus im Ennstal is the oldest village in the upper Enns Valley and can look back on a history spanning more than 1,000 years. What the approximately 2,500 inhabitants have long known became official in 2014: Haus im Ennstal was named the most beautiful village in Europe in the "Entente Florale Europe", the European quality of life and flower decoration competition.

The apartments were excellent. We stayed in a penthouse on the top floor with direct elevator access straight into the apartment. There is a large, spacious terrace with a private sauna.

The living room is very spacious, and the kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary utensils — pans, forks, knives, pots — everything was available. There are three large bedrooms, and the beds are very comfortable.

The ski slopes are about a 7-minute walk away. A Billa supermarket is also nearby, approximately a 7-minute walk. Lift pass prices were €78 for adults, €59 for youths, and €39 for children.

On the lower floor of the building, each apartment has its own private storage room for skis, snowboards, and clothing, which is not shared with other guests. There is also a shared laundry room with washing machines; laundry detergent must be purchased separately.

Inside the apartment, there is a broom and a bucket. The apartment offers three showers, two toilets, and a large number of cups and glasses. Everything is well thought out, and we never felt that anything was missing.

Key collection and return take place at a different location higher up the mountain, which requires a short drive up and down; however, this is fully compensated by the beautiful views from the top.

Overall, it was an amazing experience. I highly recommend it, and if I return to this area, I would definitely choose this hotel or resort chain again. The town itself is small, so there are limited activities directly in the village, but it is an excellent choice for a calm and relaxing holiday. Within a 10-minute drive, you can reach a nearby town with more shops, walking areas, and options for evening strolls. As a place for rest and relaxation, I definitely recommend this resort.

A truly lovely stay, we felt very comfortable. Very stylish and modernly furnished, something different 😊 Unfortunately, the weather wasn't always great, but there's nothing you can do about that. We'll be back 😊

Great modern penthouse apartment.

Great location right next to the Hauser Kaibling valley station.

One star deducted for:
- Poor cleanliness (kitchen, bathroom)
- Very poor kitchen equipment (for the price)
- Appliances need servicing (dishwasher, steamer)
- Construction noise, an outbuilding is currently being built

On the positive side, we pointed out the deficiencies, received a prompt response, and a discount was granted.
