Activities on the Turracher Höhe: summer & winter
In summer, the Turracher Höhe presents itself as an award-winning hiking paradise with child-friendly mountain lifts and attractions such as Nocky's AlmZeit. The popular Three Lakes Circuit, an easy tour around Lake Turrach, Lake Grünsee and Lake Schwarzsee , starts directly at Lake Turrach . The Barbaraweg leads to vantage points with panoramic views over the Nockberge mountains, while the ascent to the Schoberriegel offers an impressive experience, especially at sunrise. The waterfall at Grünsee lake is an idyllic place to linger in the midst of unspoilt nature. In winter, the snow-sure ski area impresses with family-friendly descents, sporty direct slopes, a snow park and fun slope. One highlight is sunrise skiing, where you can enjoy the freshly groomed slopes before everyone else. A walk across the frozen Turracher See lake is also a special experience.
Butlercard: your guest card on the Turracher Höhe
With the Butlercard, which is included during your stay at Alpenpark Turracherhöhe, you can enjoy a range of benefits from June to October. These include discounted rides on the Nocky Flitzer, the Kornockbahn and the Panoramabahn, price reductions on bike tickets and bike transport, as well as discounts at museums, zoos, sports shops and attractions such as the Montanmuseum or the Nockalmstraße. You’ll also enjoy guided programmes with alpine and piste butlers. The Turracher Höhe butlers will accompany you on special nature and mountain experiences, provide insights into the region and ensure memorable holiday moments with little surprises or regional specialities.
You will receive the card directly at check-in and it is valid for the entire duration of your stay. You can find all services and participating businesses under Butler Businesses & Butler Card. The Butler Programme is not part of the guest card, but a separate service and experience programme run by the Tourist Board, offering guests on the Turracher Höhe additional experiences.
In winter, the Tourism Association offers the so-called Butler Programme. Alpine and piste butlers are out and about on the Turracher Höhe, accompanying guests on various activities in the mountains. They offer tips on the region, provide assistance with small services on the slopes and ensure an unforgettable stay with special experiences and regional surprises.
