How do I get to Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis?
The region is well connected to the road network:
- via the Fern Pass
- from Kufstein/Innsbruck
- or from Lindau/Bregenz.
From the Oberinntal junction, drive through the Landeck Tunnel and then take the Ried im Oberinntal exit, from where you can continue directly to Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. From Switzerland, you can reach Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis via the Arlberg or the Reschen Pass.
The nearest railway station is Landeck-Zams (approx. 25 km away), and the nearest airport is in Innsbruck (approx. 100 km).
Is Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis car-free?
Serfaus is a car-free village, while Fiss and Ladis have restricted traffic. Since the 1980s, Serfaus has been considered a real showcase project in terms of sustainable tourism. Guests are only allowed to drive into the village on arrival and departure; parking is available at the car park on the edge of the village or at the hotels.
The free underground Serfaus village railway, which connects the car park, centre and mountain railways, ensures convenient mobility. The result is a safe and family-friendly holiday without traffic stress. A free hiking bus, which can be used with the Super. Summer. Card, runs between Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis, and the three villages are also connected by mountain railways.
It impresses with its medieval architecture, well-preserved walls and panoramic views over the Tyrolean Alps. It dates back to the 12th century and can be visited on guided tours in summer.
A leisurely, flat walk from Fiss leads to Wolfsee (approx. 1 km, suitable for pushchairs). A play area, a beach volleyball court and relaxation stations await you there.
