Can you drive up the Zirbitzkogel by car?

Not directly to the summit. However, you can drive via Mühlen to the Tonnerhütte (parking and refreshments available). One of the most popular routes to the summit of the Zirbitzkogel starts from there, which is also easy to plan for early sunrise tours.

Which river originates at Zirbitzkogel?

The Lavant river rises on the southern slope of the Zirbitzkogel mountain and later flows into the Drau river in Carinthia. Around the source, you will find moorland and alpine pastures.
