The Salzburger Sportwelt is located in the heart of the Salzburg region in Pongau and comprises the seven holiday resorts of Flachau, Wagrain, St. Johann, Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, Eben, Radstadt and Filzmoos. As part of Ski amadé, the region is one of Austria's largest winter sports destinations. The altitude of between around 600 and 1,800 metres ensures relatively snow-sure winters and pleasant temperatures in summer.

The Salzburger Sportwelt is easily accessible by car, train or bus. By car, take the Tauern motorway A10 and, depending on your holiday destination, take the Flachau, Altenmarkt, Eben or Radstadt exits. By train, travel to Radstadt, Altenmarkt or St. Johann im Pongau stations, and then continue by bus or taxi. Once you arrive, a well-developed regional bus network, which can be used free of charge with the Guest Mobility Ticket, ensures flexible mobility.
